Artisanal Route

Artisanal Route is an interesting route comprising about 100 kilometers from the capital city to the highest point in El Salvador (Cerro El Pital 2730 meters above sea level) where you can visit an archaeological site, craft villages, steeped in history and excellent places to practice Ecotourism and Agritourism.
Leaving San Salvador, on the main highway north, heading north of the Salvadoran territory, through the famous town of Aguilares, find one of the most important archaeological sites in the country: Cihuatan, which still does not reach full excavation.
SALVADORAN ARTISANS WORK CLAY, NATURAL FIBERS, WOOD, SEEDS AND FABRICS AUTHENTICALLY BEAUTIFUL. LA PALMA, ILOBASCO AND SAN SEBASTIAN ARE AMONG THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE SALVADORAN CRAFTS.
